Ashton's first day in Pre-k

GOSH!!! How time keeps flying by... I feel like I just had this kiddo not all that long ago, first he became a big brother and is so good at it, then started pre school and now moving on up to pre-k... I can't even begin to tell you how PROUD of this little pumpkin I am. ( we are ☺ ) Ashton went from the sea turtles intermediate class to Pre -K - the pirates,  last week he started the new school year. What can I say but a great fit for him with the theme of his class rooms 2 times in a row and great teachers... So far were on the right track!

His first day of Pre -k he made a volcano and made a pirate hat for his new themed class room. We have started him with the kindergarten mini reads by Disney and he is loving them. I enjoy watching him by the door in his room on his frog just reading away. I told my mom I'm not sure if he has already memorized the book by sentence from us reading it with him or if he is fully actually reading it but then I bought another 2 and before we read it all the way together he already was doing it and asked if he didn't know the word. It pops pictures in between and I know that is so intertaining to him. On the other hand he is obsessed with magic school bus videos, books and read along. 

It's so funny that the book he learned all about volcanos in magic school bus he told his new teacher how it happens, why and how hot it gets. And she said she wasn't even going to go that indept with the kids but Ashton shared it with her so they shared it with the class together. 

I just love this little boy....
