Bringing you up to speed...

Ok, so I haven't been writing much just posting pictures like crazy and giving little blurbs about what we have been up to. So since both little kiddos are down for a nap, I thought I would bring everyone up to speed.

Today marks the fact that I have to come to terms that I go back to work in 15 days. NOT so excited about it. But I'm happy to say I have 15 more days of endless enjoyment with them and a family vacation we leave on this coming Saturday. SO EXCITED!!! I cant wait.

OK, stay with me everyone as I'm going to back track a bit. Right before I went on leave I made this list on my last trip for work, of all the things I wanted to do with Ashton and Kaleia before I went back to work depending on my recovery and I have to say we have almost done all of it. From many trips to sea world, the beach, concerts in the park, toddler movie morning, del mar races, the zoo and so much more. We had many days of fun at the park eating watermelon pops and having a picnic, AJ just loved that. Fun play dates with his little buddy's, library story / music time, the endless pool time and swim lessons. Took a trip to Vegas and also got to spend a wonderful day with family for fathers day. There was quite a few more things we did that I wont bug you with but there is a few more things I still want to do like: the water park, OC fair, toddler tubing park and the birch aquarium. Disneyland we have pushed back to September as it cools down a bit. It will be a SPECIAL day just for AJ with mommy and daddy. A pre~Birthday gift for our little soon to be 2 year old.

As I sit here and think about all we have done while I have been off work with trying to learn the balance of 2 little ones and having a newborn all over again has been a true blessing to have such beautiful, happy and healthy babies. I'm not going to lie we had our moments in the beginning getting Ashton use to not being the only center of attention to Kaleia not gaining weight as quick as the doctors would have liked, to being worried she might need a frogie diaper for her hip but we past the ultra sound and they said she had great deep hip sock-it's that she will be very limber and will be just fine. Thank god... All that stress because for some reason I have birched babies, that like to be up close to my heart :)instead of the other direction. And one more BIG milestone is we have been working on potty training but not pushing Ashton on it. He has been doing really well, were not there yet and every article, book and story of advise I have read all says boys usually take 3-8 months longer to potty train then girls. He tells me when were in the pool he has to go potty (even though he has on the swimmies YEAH !!!)He tells me when he has to poop. He's getting better at telling me potty time for pea but not every time yet. Were still working on that. Stay tuned as I will give you more info on the progress as we move along.

It's so hard to believe that my little peanut Kaleia is going to be 3 months old already on the 10th and my little pumpkin is going to be 23 months old on the 21st and will be 2 years old next month. The time is flying by. As happy as I am to see every moment of the changes as they grow it makes me just as sad to see them get so big so fast. I wish I could keep them right were their at and then if that was possible I would miss out on all the stages ahead so I just have to live with the fact that I savor each and every moment, take videos and pictures daily and enjoy the ride ahead as it's been a fun and crazy one so far.

Will see what's next in our journey ahead... Thanks for listing :)
