What ashton 's up to

What Ashton's up to...
He's now has two teeth that have cut though the skin on the bottom and is so darn cute about it. He loves when we brush is teeth. Were so lucky to have such a happy baby all the time. He's only real fussy times have been at night while his teeth are coming in. He's just so cute with his little personality and always wanting to play 24, 7.. He's now just started size 2 diapers today and I cant believe he has gotten so big. Jonathan and I were looking at pictures last night and it seems like only yesterday he was in preemie diapers and 2 ounces of milk with preemie clothes that were to big. He has gotten so big and changed so much so fast. It flashes before your eyes in a second. I cant even believe he will be 6 months in 2 weeks. He now can eat a fruit or a veggie (stage 1) each evening and rice cereal in the morning and the rest is milk. He's trying to hard to want to crawl and he rolls all over the place. He can go back words but not forwards, I have a feeling it will before we know it. So crazy how fast it all changes. I would have never thought so quick, even with all the books I have read and been reading.

What they say your baby's doing at 5 months and 2 weeks:
Your baby may start showing signs of one of her first major emotional milestones — stranger anxiety. She may become clingy and anxious around new (and even familiar) people and may cry if a stranger suddenly approaches her.

Keep this in mind when you're around people she doesn't know, and try not to be embarrassed when she cries in someone else's arms — just take her back and calm her down by holding her yourself. Tell your friends and family to approach your little one with slow, gentle movements.

A case of stranger anxiety doesn't mean you have to avoid new faces. Your baby will benefit from being around people other than you and your partner. Just remember that she needs your patience and understanding to get through this very important stage of development.
