Our Summer has begun...

As all of you know, I'm so very excited to be home with my two little kiddos this summer because Kaleia's birth happened to fall right at summer. YEAH for ME!!! So as we still have lot's of adjusting to do and growing as family of four now. I think in all were doing a pretty great job so far, but I do have to say Kaleia is 3 Weeks old already. WOW the time is flying by in many ways and in the middle of the night with no sleep it doesn't seem that way so much. ha ha...But she is a great little princess. She is so easy and loves to sleep all day long and be our little wide awake cuttle bug all night. Love her to pieces...

Since Ashton is 20 months old and wants to touch, feel and play with everything. He's really good about playing by himself and reading to his animals or toys and me too... But Keeping him busy when I have to feed, pump and change Kaleia has been touch at times, while other times he is a hug little helper. But the attention span for him will not last very long though he loves to be momma's BIG HELPER in every way possible. (aka Bubba is what he calls me) He has made me so proud, with how he has taken to Kaleia and wants to love and hold her all the time, and some times wants to pick her up, so I have to watch him like a hawk when I have her in the bouncer or on the boppie because he has tried to pick her up and set her in his lap. It was priceless as I was biting my tough and dashing for her neck and body. I know he means well and I love it, it's just a little scarey because she's so little and he doesn't know is straight yet and doesn't get the whole aspect of the baby sister being fragile. We will get there I know in time. But I do have to say it's priceless waiting Ashton want to hold her and cuttle her like no body else. I just love it.It makes me so happy!!!

So you can only imagine between a newborn, Ashton and my c-section has made my life a bit of a challenge. But I have to admit I truly think I have done pretty darn well and tried not to push it to much but I feel like I'm moving along much quicker then the first time, I had to go through this. Still painful but I feel like my healing process is going a bit smoother and the swelling has gone down sooner too. YEAH!!!

Since Ashton know's I'm all about walking him to the park, we haven't done that yet since it's a bit far for me this soon. So we have had a great time playing imaginary pirate ships in the front room with the paper towel rolls and his pirate toys. We just have a blast. Along with that we have been playing outside in the backyard and across the street at our grass area where the pools at, to make up for all the time we usually spend down at the park or by the beach. We have had a great time with his new outdoor toy's for this summer. I sure wish we had a bigger backyard, for him. I cant wait to have Jonathan put up the pool we got Ashton, it's just our crazy weather has been so weird we haven't done it yet.

So that's it for now... Have a great night :)
