Happy Labor day weekend everyone!!!

This is the first year Jonathan and I have not headed to my Aunts to hit the Lake for the last big Summer Her-ha and Celebrate her birthday... It's all about being home and hanging out with friends and family and having fun filled BBQ's this weekend. We talked about so many different trips and then we said, let's just enjoy it close to home!!! Were did the Summer go, and the year has flown by as well.

As we all know, Summer will soon be a distant memory, so make sure you and your family get the most out of the last three days of the summer weekend before all your kiddos head back to school.

The days are already getting shorter, and, before you know it, you’ll be reaching for a sweater instead of your swimsuit. So while lightning bugs still flicker in the dusk, make some time to savor some sweet summery activities. So here's my list of summer must haves for you and your fam.

10 Fun Things to Do Before Labor Day is over

1. Run under a sprinkler.
On a sizzling hot afternoon, throw on your bathing suits and have a splish-splashing good time while your lawn and garden enjoy a refreshing drink. ( so good to feel like a kid again)

2. Sleep outdoors.
Set up a tent in the backyard and enjoy the feeling of "roughing it." HA HA, this so is not me but would be fun or soft ground- IE- like sand.

3. Weekend Kite Flying.
Labor day weekend can be just windy enough for a great kite flying in the air. Choose a local park that has open grassland, so kites won't get stuck in trees.

4. Take a spin.
Grab a seat on a Ferris wheel or a merry-go-round and enjoy the ride.

5. Ring a bell.
Get a bell for your bicycle and ring it frequently. It’s a friendly and nostalgic way to greet your neighbors and alert pedestrians if you have to ride on the dock, boardwalk or just the good old sidewalk.

6. Eat most of your meals outdoors.
It’s too nice outside to spend time cooking big meals in a hot kitchen. Instead, BBQ- :) Our FAVORITE TIME'S is SUMMER time to BBQ every night were all home.

7. Eat a campfire treat—indoors.
Just a taste of indoor s'mores will take you back to the summers of your childhood.

8. Stay up late for some stargazing.
Evening showers are forecast for August. The Perseid meteor showers, that is. They appear every year around the middle of August. Any clear night is great for picking out constellations.

9. Sing campfire songs and tell ghost stories.
Songs and stories passed down from generation to generation are as much family heirlooms as grandma’s wicker picnic basket. Sing a few verses of your favorite camp songs or hold a flashlight under your chin to make your spookiest face while you tell the ghost story tail.

10. Get a new flag and let it wave, HAPPY LABOR DAY TO ALL....

Be safe and have fun!!! ENJOY EVERY MINUTE, because it will Fly by...

Cant Believe my pumpkin will be a year old in just a few short weeks. CRAZY!!!

love C-
