Babies Are A Blessing

Having a baby is such a blessing. Having a baby when you didn't plan on it right then can be even more of a blessing. Your child can give you more strength then you ever knew you had. Imagine some of the things that you do for your child, some of the sacrifices you have to make for them...and then imagine doing those things before they were around! Well to be honest they probably wouldn't have happened! Take for instance, staying on a schedule. Some of us might have been organized and scheduled BB, but no where near what a baby needs. Before I had Ashton I would wake up when I needed to get ready for work, otherwise it would be when I happened to wake up, but that was always no later then 8am because that was sleeping in to m, unless I could go back to sleep for one more hour. Not the case anymore! If Ashton wants to be awake and start our day at 4am, that is just what we are going to do. He needs a solid night of sleep, so therefore I forgo doing things that would keep him up later then his 7:30-8pm bedtime. Yes, it has happened when we have got places but he has always done well, it's not like we do that daily. Making these sacrifices aren't always easy, but they are essential to keeping a happy child and to being a good parent. Those two things are then essential to my happiness.

It is amazing what you consider happiness before you are a parent. I never would have thought of a great Saturday being one that was spent chasing a baby around the floor playing, followed by lunch and a nap, finished with a walk outside to watch the birds or a dip in the pool. He makes me want to be a better person, to do better for him and for me. It makes me so sad thinking of how many people are out there that want a baby of their own so bad, but can never get pregnant and would be such great parents. Then on the other spectrum there are so many people that will make the worst parents and then find themselves pregnant unplanned over and over again. We happen to fall in the middle. We always knew we wanted to be parents, and would make good ones, but finally decided when it happened it would be right, as I didn't get pregnant for quite a while, then it happened! He has been the best blessing, because he is teaching us to be less selfish. They teach you everything about yourself, and never having time to yourself but it's all for a great blessing! ha ha That is OK though, it is a sacrifice well worth the cost whatever it might be! Babies are worth ever minute,a whole world of love and the dollars you spend on them. BABIES are the GREATEST BLESSING YOU COULD EVER ASK FOR....

We don't know what WE WOULD EVER HAVE DONE, WITHOUT YOU IN OUR LIFE :)
