“ Little baby boys and their daily findings of new discovery’s”
The more days go by and the bigger Ashton gets, it blows my mind from one morning to the next. He was so little when he was born and his whole little body fit from Jonathan's hand to his elbow and now he’s 18 pounds and almost 30 inch. Long. WOW…
He has grown into this cute little boy that loves to smile, then laugh and just giggle at you over and over again. Ashton has the greatest personality. We can’t be more thankful for such an easy going baby who is happy all the time and ready to play.
Ashton is doing and liking so many things now. So here’s a sneak peak of what he’s up to…
- loves to bounce ( bouncy, bouncy ) * I think since day one
- loves banana’s, every way, in his rice cereal, frozen in his chewy to suck on, the Gerber organic bananas and fresh little bits of banana.
- Loves fruit and veggies too… His favorite is green beans and peaches too
- Loves bath time (play, splash, kick and roll on to tummy)
- Loves water period… the POOL he is so amazed by and loves every minute in the water.
- Loves to go to the park and watch all the kids
- Enjoys looking at the birds and lizards, his eye’s get so big and smiles from ear to ear
- Crawls like no tomorrow, he has that down. (From his room to our office it took him less a minute. CRAZY, huh
- Loves to hold or touch your face and feel your eyes, noise and mouth. (we sing the song all the time)
- Loves to clap and now does it when he laugh’s from time to time.
- Loves to read the wheels on the bus and Baby Einstein discoveries.
- He is such a little man now with great face expressions for every move you make
- Holds his hands above his head when we sing and love to dance. (that’s by boy)
- He has been walking all over the house since the first of may by holding on to everything in sight but now he can not just pull himself up by the couch but everything. (ie- the wall, the door, the beds, pack in play, the gate, crib… ) yep you name it. We know he will be walking fully before we know it. He walks and then pops down on his little bottom. It’s so darn cute!!!
I could go on and on… He has been our little discovery boy. As we have learned the whole way through, I believe we have done a pretty good job so far. I know Jonathan and I are up for anything and ready for what’s in store for us next. I know the changes will keep coming and we can’t wait to watch our little guy grow. It’s so crazy that he is already 9 months old and time is flying by. Some days, it seems like yesterday when I got to bring him home and then I look at him and it seems like so long ago. As much as it’s a life changing experience, for our whole family, I can’t imagine a day without our little pumpkin. He is a blessing and a beautiful gift I can’t live without. He makes me work harder and get excited to spend every minute with him that I have. I treasure every moment and experience I get with Ashton each and everyday. Thank you god for this beautiful, happy, healthy baby boy we have…
As many of you know and or have asked that POPPING Question about are you going to have more… We have discussed it and would like to have a little brother or sister for AJ but not yet. I still get crazy thoughts when I think about the delivery part and that has to go before we do this again. And to be honest for a long time there I was pretty darn sure Ashton was it but I was totally fine with that. I know Jonathan would be happy either way and he would never push me to do something we both didn’t want, but he knew if he gave me time we then could discuses. So all keep you posted if we decide any time soon but don’t hold your breath. I have way more important things to worry about like throwing ASHONS 1ST BIRTHDAY!!!! And Yes I have already started. As much as I, would like to be greedy, and keep Ashton little forever. I’m super excited to have him turn one in a few months. I have started this fun filled little bash for our CUTTIE PIE… I can’t share all the details or it won’t be a fun surprise.
