Well, I'm sorry I have not posted much the past few weeks. So here we go...
I went to the doctors last Friday and she cleared me to travel to Hawaii this week for work. My last big trip before I go on leave right before Ashton comes. It was so great and beautiful in Hawaii but so HOT and sticky this time of year. I walked on the beach the first two nights and walked around the street shops too.. You all know how I love to shop. I watched the hula dancers and listened to the music and Ashton got so excited he was going crazy in my belly... It is such a crazy but amazing feeling to know someone is in there growing in side of you. As much as I want to see his cute little face, I feel like a part of me will miss that too. It's such in unbelievable feeling having that bond and relationship happening right there inside of you. I thought about that this week while I was out there but, I know I cant wait to see our little bundle of joy as well. He has been my little world traveler with me and doesn't even know it yet... He has been to 8 states, 4 islands and Puerto Rico too... It was a great trip and I'm super happy I got to make it, to see those stores before I go on leave.
- Not to back track but my shower was last Saturday and it was a blast. Hat's off to Katrina, it was a beautiful shower from the dipper cake to the flowers and all the food. I had so much fun with all my besties... It was so great to see all of them and have such a good time together.It was so much fun getting to open all the little goodies for Ashton. He sure will have more aunties and uncles then he will know what to do with. They will all keep him in line.. Thank you to all my dear friends for a great shower and a wonderful day, I don't know what I would do without all of you... Your the best friends a girl could have!!!
I'm so excited that Amy and Gina are next to be having babies... I cant wait to be there for them as they have been all so great to me. And Ashton will have frinds to play with.
- Today is our family shower that my Aunt Joan, my Mom and Autie Cathie are throwing for me. It should be a great day with all the family. I know everyone has worked so hard and I cant wait to see everyone... Most of the family has not seen me really prego so this will be big for everyone. I'm happy will be doing it in the Irvine park, it brings back memories of our family picnics with my grandma and all the family. I'm sad that my grandma wont be here with me but I know she's in spirit. She past away a year ago Thursday of this last week. I know she would be so proud to be a great grandma and have this opportunity to see the first great grand- baby. Having the shower there, is a neat way to dedicate it to her and know that she is with me today.
All keep you posted on all the fun!!! So one more thing to say....
- I'm super excited about tomorrow evening Jonathan and I go take are maturity pictures with Mark. He's a great photographer, I just hope the weather stays good... I cant wait.... That's it for now !!! xoxox
