I was thinking on the plane coming back from our wonderful vacation on the island of Vieques, and how our relationship has grown and changed over the years. We've been together for 10 years this last Nov. 24, 2008 and we have grown so much as individuals and as a couple. We have been thought so many changes in life together and come out of each of them with a stronger piece to our relationship. When we first started dating I was always so happy just to spend quality time with him. We liked so much of the same things and allot of different things too. We became inseparable, and I think that has allot to do with my attraction to him and how he could make me laugh so quick. We never looked back because we new we were meant to be and so we just keep growing up with each other into our own ways and career paths. We have been there for each other from schooling, college graduation into jobs we loved and those we didn’t at time, all the way into our careers and goals we wanted to meet. I wouldn't change it for the world. It truly shows how much trust you have in each other in order to grow up as adults with each other and change as you get older as well. Many time you hear how people grow apart when they start dating in the early year's as you get thru your 20's and your whole life is changing so fast. In May 2006 we shared with all of our friends and family how much we love each other and we tied the knot.
The one thing no matter what, is when I get home and he gives me a hug and a kiss and she says I love you, it still gets the butterflies and my heart beat going when I see him after a long work day or week , depending on my travel. Our love is no where the same as it was over 10 years ago and I love the growth it has become, even though every girl loves that first tickle of love. Weather it be your first love or your true love, it’s so much larger then that. Our love is more mature, understanding and trust of our lives were building together. More importantly I would not feel that I would have the room to share him or want to share the love that I have with someone else, but I do and it will be such a joy to become parents. It sounds like a new love that has entered both of our lives. It's made us closer and will continue to strengthen and nourish our relationship for many years to come. It will love us back, challenge us, test us, help us grow as a family, teach us, and the best part is...we made it, how crazy is that !!! By the grace of God we created this love and it will do more then we could ever imagine. This love has a name...His name is Ashton James Mercado. What a great feeling to know we will be able to care and teach this little baby all we know and then some.
After all these years Jonathan still treats me like I‘m his princess. In his heart and eyes , among all the day to day chores and life tasks that come about he still calls or texts me to make sure that I have eaten and is feeling ok. Then he says I love you… I love him more and more everyday...and I proudly admit that our love has grown and changed in so many ways that have made us the couple we are now. My love for my bubba is stronger, more defined, more in perceptive and beyond any love I ever could have imaged. I’m so blessed to have this man in my life and I don’t ever take one day for garnet because you never know what can happen, when you least expect it. I’m so grateful for what I have.

I love to keep busy between work, fun actives, friends, family and hanging out w/ the love of my life as much as we can. :) I love fashion and I love to shop. I enjoy making people feel like they have a reason and a passion for what they do, to enjoy why they come to work each day. I have been working in retail for over 14 years and have always loved the visual side of the business. I have been doing some sort of Visual Presentation and Design for the past 6 years. I love creating fashion forward looks & Eye catching Visual displays. I truly love the work I do. I also have a whole Region I oversee visually and I truly enjoy developing my people & there teams in each location to help them become successful professionals in visual presentation. Jonathan and I love to veg, go to the beach, hang w/ friends and just kick back with each other and watch movies. We enjoy traveling to different placing and seeing new things all the time. He's the love of my life and I don't know what I would do with out him. Were like two pea's in a pod... I would be there for him in a second no matter what.
About Jonathan
Jonathan is a great guy. He is so funny, he's hansom, kind hearted, a great cook and super active with his mixed Marshall art's. He can keep you laughing for hours. He's truly my sweetheart. He's always been right there when I've needed him the most. He loves his work and he enjoys playing video games when he gets the time. (what guy doesn't) He enjoys riding dirt bikes, going snorking in LaJolla and just hanging out with friends and myself. Jonathan has always been a great role model to his younger brothers and continues to be one, no matter how old they get. I know Jonathan will make in amazing dad to our son. I know this is his calling and it's probably meant to be, that were having a boy for our first child. He loves kids and does so well with all our friends children. I can't say that there hasn’t been times where I thought he is one still too!!! My Bubba is such a loving, honest, generous, romantic, compassionate, caring and adorably smart person. He's a great husband and will be a wonderful father.
