Ashton's birthday celebration

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am for my dear friend Lauren and her soon to be hubby Jason. I was just thinking about it last night and how we have truly been through more together then anyone else in my life from childhood to present. We have shared many great, exciting, fun, adventurest,  rewarding milestones and sad moments with my closest friends. But Lo and I have been friends for over 25 1/2 years. We have been friends since ELM. School. We were placed next to eachother on the first day of school and by last name, ha ha the rest is history! We hit it off and it was to funny that I'll never live this down but I took Lauren's hand and said come on let go play! All the funny things we do as kids.  It has been priceless growing up with Lauren and being around the whole family my whole life. I truly think of her, Tina/ Gary and the family as my family too. We grew up enjoying times with each others grandparents, parents, siblings and extended family. We have shared holidays, sleep overs, play dates, imaginary careers, acting like models/ super stars, dress up, dance classes, school, make overs, dances, friends, boy drama, jobs and career paths have crossed more then once in our adult life. 

We have seen eachother grow into the women we have become. We were their for eachother when we each went our own ways in college but each of us passionate about each others journey and paths we would take. No matter how far - well more so me then her moved, we could always come back to where we left off. We have been through hard times together, loss of loved ones, relationships, college graduations, careers, she was right there for me on my wedding day, her becoming an auntie and then the birth of my children and now it's Lauren's turn to have this special day as I know she will be the most beautiful bride. I'm so happy for her and Jason. I love you like a sister and can't be happier for you to have found the man of your dreams and the love of your life. 

When you brought him to my birthday dinner I had an idea maybe this is the one. It was like there 2nd or 3rd date.  I remember telling Jonathan and my mom I think she really likes him. In return my mom said well its a good name and if he treats Lauren right then he will be perfect for her. And now here we are...

Cheers to my best friend and welcome to the family Jason. I love you both and wish you nothing but love, happiness and   Wedding bliss for a life time of marriage. You deserve nothing but the BEST LO!

Ashton's 4th birthday

Wow, another year has come and gone!!! Hard to believe this baby boy of mine is now 4 years old. It truly does seem like not that long ago that I was in the hospital havin him and ready to bring him home. Now he has a baby sister who is 2, he's in pre-school and so independent. He has changed so much in the past 6 months from his conversational skills, things he does on his own, loving sports Wednesdays and starting to read and do sit words pretty well. His memorizing skills are great... I know who he gets that from 😉

It makes me such a proud momma to watch this boy grow with each coming year and see the man he will become. But on the flip side it brings tears to my eyes that my baby isn't a baby anymore. But he will always be my little pumpkin!!! 

If I could have one wish for this little boy it would be to keep all the bad things in this world put of site an out of mind for as long a I can. These kiddos today grow up way to fast, faster then we did as kids. 

Happy 4th birthday Ashton we love you to the moon and back!

We have so many birthday in the month of September but one of the most special ones is my moms birthday! We love you mom and thank you a million times over for all that you do for us and our family each and every day. We love you and wish you a happy birthday with many more to come xoxox 

Good bye and welcome home

Can't believe after 4 1/2 great years of love, joy, laughter, tears and new beginnings of a family we have closed one chapter and started a new. I knew it would be a little hard to leave but didnt realize it would hit me that bad. That was the first house I brought both my babies home to and the home we really started to grow our family. So good bye 1467 sun dance way, we will miss you and will always have a special place in our heart. 

Welcome home to Carlsbad ! Hello Lexington circle. Well it never can be a dull moment in our house hold, we already have had our first little emergency after only being in the house 3 hours. My sweet baby girl was being so good and Ashton too. Ashton is sitting on the steps and kaleia sitting on the landing of the stairs while te guys were off loading our new fride and kaleia decides to stand up in place and slips right where she was standing and hit the corner of the satire case. We had laid plastic down for the movers and she slipped when she stood up. I ran up graves her and held pressure but couldn't tell how bad it was so I called 911 and they came out. Jon was with the movers so it was just me and the poor delivery guys. The EMT/ fire dept got the bleeding stopped. They helped me load up the car take her in to the emergency and called it in for me. They were great guys and saved the day. But if you think that was the worse part, nope try being mom and having to have the doctor wrap her up like a mummy and then I had to hold her down while they mummed her and glued and put 7 stitches in her head. I still feel horbal and wish I could have taken away all her pain. She was such a trooper and did so well. And Ashton was great sat there turned around and colored for me the whole time and keep sayin it's ok sisie the doctor is going to make you all better don't be sad. My heart was breaking but they both did so well. I horbal as I felt they both made me very proud they were so good and strong. 

( they love eachother so much, they had a bond no one can ever break, he always wants to take care if his sisie. This was leaving the emergancy) 

So you could say my plan to bust out as much as I could get unpacked as the movers were getting it in didn't happen like originally planned. But the kiddos are ok and safe. So when we got back home, we started with what we could and did it little by little. There is a small preview of the house and I'm now about 90% done once I'm 100% done I will post photos of the house.

Our date night in Vegas

Date night in Vegas ! It wasn't long but it was nice to have one whole day and evening with the man of my life. As crazy as it's been lately it was nice just to have a day to us!!! 

We had brunch, layed by the pool and then had a nice dinner at the Cosmo. Thanks for a great day and night babe! I love you and miss the time we get to have with just us but it's nice to step away and it be just you and me. Have a great conference and see you when your back home. And our next adventure will begin with movin in our new house :)
