July is here!

Happy July -
Hard to believe I'm already on week 5 at the new job and its July. Where has this half of the year gone to so soon. The kids are loving summer so far and they sure are my little fishes. Ashton can swim with out help but likes the help or the Flotties from time to time. Kaleia has no fear and jumps right in and will swim to you and come up for air. She likes me to go about 5 or 6ft from the satires then she hops in kicks and does her doggie paddle to me then turns again when I pick her up and swims back to the satires. She has got the want to do it all her self, much like everything else.

  1. Jonathan is good and as many of you know he is growing out his hair. Wy on earth in the middle of the summer I have no idea... But even though I think it looks ridiculous, he is of course loving it other then the fact that he can't wear a hat because he has way to much hair. I have my hair stylist Chelsea working on him but we haven't got him to crack yet! Ha ha. He is loving his brand new 70 inch tv. Don't quote me but I think that's the right size. He has been drooling over it for like 10months or more. So  on Ashton's first day of pre-school after we take him we go have breakfast and then kaleia, Jonathan and I go to Costco. As we are so overly excited for Ashton and his first day were a bit sad and can't believe the time had come.jonathan is over looking at the TV's we I say we'll stop looking at it and giving me that look just get it already. So as you can guess that's what happened. But we were in my car so I had to come back to Costco with the kids that night and pick it up. As I didn't realize there would be more to just the TV, little did I realize I then was sent on a hunt. For a surround sound system and I can't even remember what else. Once I have it all that evening. Jonathan gets home from work and say I going to put it up now. I say it's 1030pm at night and were looking to move anyhow can't you just wait a few weeks tell we move and then set it all up at once. Oh no it can't possibly sit in a box for that long he says to me. So here we are getting this thing set up in the middle of the night but it wouldn't be Jonathan  if we hadn't.

Well that's all for now, I'm off to south beach fl this week ๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒžand home for a 4 day weekend for the 4th! We have some great plans with the kids. I can't wait ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽŠ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŽˆ๐ŸŽ‰

It's always fun to hit the good old del mar fair. Have fun, play some games, go on a few rides, try some food and see the animals. The kids have a ball and so did we! Happy Sunday everyone

June is flying by!

It's so hard to believe that June is flying by and July is just around the corner. It's been a month for new adventures, changes to our whole family and life in general. As most of you know or who has read my pervious blog I started a new job and today marks my 3rd full week. Hard to believe that has gone by so fast. It's truly been a great new breath of fresh air and something new. I feel like I have made the right choice so far but I'll keep you posted! I love that what their core values are, that its things they don't just say but put to use, verbalized and show how they mean it every day. As much as you, all know I have that travel bug in me and excited about all my training throughout the country but I will be happy to be in a normal retinue with the kiddos in a few short weeks. And yeah, to be home every night ๐Ÿ˜Šwill be so amazing for me. For some of you, might think I'm crazy but that will make me one happy momma. No one likes to make a 7 day a week mommy job, teaching, cleaning, playing, laundry, shopping and week prep all in 2 days a week on the weekend plus every other activity or party going on. I do have to say I have come up with a great system for the past 3 1/2 years but its truly draining and how much fun do I truly get with my fabulous kiddos? So for me it's like I won the lottery ๐Ÿ’‹. Since Ashton started pre-school I have been able to take him each Monday and was able to pick him up twice. That's huge as in the pasted I would have never been able to do that and the only way would have been to take a paid day off to do it. He is just loving his 3 days a week and also being a part of the summer camp program for the last hour of his half day at school. Go summer Fun!

Here's  a piece of news most of you don't know, I got a NEW Car well to me anyhow... It's no Audi Q-5 but It's free. I now have a company car for all my driving  so my 1 year old Mazda 3 will no longer be abused and slammed with a ton of miles anymore. YEAH! I now have a silver 2010 ford escape with 17,000 miles on it. Not to bad and I get the new 2014 model  in the new year. ๐Ÿ˜ŠSuper Exciting!!!

Well that's in for now, I'm on my flight home from Chicago and the storm is horrible so I'm going to let you all go now as its to hard to type with the bad turbulence.

Have a great weekend!

Here's some pictures from Chicago this week.

Closing of one chapter and starting a new

As some of you know it's been a little hectic in our house hold the past month. We have had so many new and exciting things happening from kaleias birthday, Mother's Day, our anniversary, Memorial Day and my last day at f21 5.31 as well as my mother in laws birthday.

Let me step back a few weeks and bring you up I speed. So I was recruited for a job back in NYC and we weren't really 100% sure if we wanted to move or not. We decided what the heck, ill go through the interview process anyhow and will just see where it goes. Let me tell you it has been one of the best experiences I have had ever with a company. So as I went thought the process with my crazy schedule they were so great the whole time. When I had the opportunity to speak with the director I was really honest as I was with the other 2 ladies and told her we would do the move but I would love to be back in San Diego at some point because that's where we would really like to have our kids grow up. She was so understanding and infancy had a great idea and said she would get back to me on the possibility of not even having to move but still join the team. We were even more thrilled. So
a few weeks went by and we kept in contact by email and when the approval happened with the Victoria secret heads to create the market visual manager position for the west coast just like they have on the east coast and Chicago we were thrilled. Then the offer came in and getting to be home all but 2 or 3 nights a month, company car, officing from home and quite a few other perks along with a great package, Jonathan and I discussed  and as hard as this whole choice was to make to leave f21 after 8 years it was something I had to do not just for me but for our whole family. So let the change begin and our new chapter start!

I will miss my west coast power house team!

They will always have a close place in my heart as we have all worked so hard together for many years!

Thank you for the beautiful Tiffany's bracelet. I wear it everyday and will always think of you region 2

Ashton- preschool already

Who would have thought this day would come so fast. But here we are day 1 of pre-school June 7th another chapter in our growing sons life. He is over this world excited about starting school today. I'm super excited for him too but a little part of me is sad how big he's getting so fast. It sure does not seem like all that long ago we were planning his first birthday and found out the news that I was pregnant with kaleia. Next ill have 2 in preschool and Ashton will be getting ready for kindergarten . I ch  each and  every moment I get with my pumpkin. He is forever my little pumpkin and I wish him all the very best each and everyday forward in all the new adventures we will now experience.
The thing that made me smile and know he's getting so big. Is that ashton asked if I would take down his piggy bank so he can pay for school . And we said no bubba mommy and daddy pay for that. Jonathan then said bubba you don't have enough money. Ashton said daddy a have over a hundred dollars and Jonathan said you would need more then 500 dollars well daddy I got that. He was so sweet!!!! I love this little boy. He will save his money for something great!

So off to pre-school we go! I'm so proud of you Ashton. You are such a big boy.
