Due a day apart!!!
So last weekend, I went to get my hair done and Chelsea (my hair stylist) and I keep comparing our pregnancy's to our first ones and whats different about this one. So we were talking away and one thing you have to know is her husband is 6'4 so this little baby girl of hers is going to be TALL... With Chelsea's first little girl who is now 2 is so cute and tiny and this one I hate to say it chels, but I think she's taking Dad's jeans. Last time I was in to get my hair done we looked about the same and now -- not so much.Before our belly's were pretty close. Everyone kept asking us are you sure your due a day apart and we both laughed yep and Chels would say but I so huge. She's not, just has a big baby to carry with real long legs. She thinks she is going to weight about 8 or 9 pounds they said. And Kaleia on the other hand will be about 6 and how ever many ounces. I wonder if she will be just about what Ashton was or smaller???
So anyways long story short when we found out we were pregnant we both were told may 12- her and may 13th me. Now there thinking she might deliver about May 5th and me May 10th. So will see.... We were hoping to possibly pass each-other at the hospital but were not delivering at the same one.BUMMER!!!
Just thought I'd share my little story...

The first time I ever found this I was like 3 days out from having Ashton and never got around to post this great poem. So here's to you Ashton and to your little sister that will be there in less then 3 weeks away... WOW how the time keeps flying by.

How the baby is growing:
Your baby is now considered "full term," even though your due date is three weeks away. If you go into labor now, his lungs will likely be mature enough to fully adjust to life outside the womb. (Some babies need a bit more time, though. So if you're planning to have a repeat c-section, for example, your practitioner will schedule it for no earlier than 39 weeks unless there's a medical reason to intervene earlier.)
Your baby weighs between 4.5- 6 pounds and measures a bit over 19 inches, head to heel (like a stalk of Swiss chard). Many babies have a full head of hair at birth, with locks from 1/2 inch to 1 1/2 inches long. But don't be surprised if your baby's hair isn't the same color as yours. And then, of course, some babies sport only peach fuzz.

Your full-term (yay!) baby is gaining about 1/2 ounce a day and getting her first sticky poop (called meconium) ready. She's also brushing up on skills for the outside world: blinking, sucking, inhaling, exhaling, and gripping (it's getting strong!).

Baby girl is coming soon....
Well this past weekend was kinda rough... I haven't really been all that emotional but with not moving to a bigger place yet, packing up my home office, trying to get everything done and always being gone everything kinda all caught up to me and I wanted to have a melt down. I felt like nothing was getting done fast enough, no matter how much I tried. All in all a decent amount of stuff got done and the baby's room is stared and is coming together. It will be so cute when I'm done. But it's still in the middle stages, it will be complete by the 23rd. I'll post pictures of it in the next two weekends if I have it done sooner, all post it.
I went to the doctors on Friday and all was good. Her heart beat was 153 and all my counts were good, I gained 0 weight this past week... Yeah I say!!!! My tummy seems so big and I know I still have 3 1/2 weeks to go. I truly feel that has been the hardest part for me, this time has been the discomfort of her kicking me in the back and in the front at the same time while I try to go to sleep. I never had that with Ashton. He only ever kicked me in the tummy and was always in my ribcage and made it hard for me to breath. With her this past week I got braxton hicks and that was new to me as I never got that with Ashton either. Well there's a first for everything right.
This sure has been in experience again and a cool one too. It by far, the coolest thing I loved while being pregnant is feeling the movement and when she's not kicking now I wonder what she's doing in there if she's not sleeping. So crazy that a life is in their growing like that. WOW !!! We can't wait to meet you little one!!! I know you will love your BIG Brother to pieces... I know you will keep up with him like no tomorrow.

Happy friday
Wow... Where has the week gone again? I can’t believe its Friday once again. But I have to say as busy as this week has been, I have gotten tons done well for work anyhow and exciting news is my girl friend Rana had her beautiful baby girl... I can’t wait to meet her and see the beautiful little princess.
That was one of the biggest highlight of my week that I wanted to share other then the story my mom had with my little pumpkin. So this is what happened. My mom was at whole foods, as she refers to it as farmers market but her and aj were shopping and she said he was being a great little shopper and greeting everyone with hello as they go through the store tell my mom reaches over to bag up some fruit and aj in the mean time in the cart right next to her leaned over and grabbed an apple. He kept telling her apple and she was talking away to him, looks up a put the fruit in the cart and sees Ashton eating this apple. She says to him, your moms going to kill me. Ashton we have to pay for it first. She cleans the apple after its a; little too late and he continues to eat it and say hi to everyone. So she gets to the register and apologies to the cashier and says weight it whatever you need to as by this time he has eaten about half. The cashiers laughed and said no don’t worry about it. He looks like he’s having a great time with it. Ashton said thank u and my mom then calls me leaves me this funny voicemail and I can hear aj in the background saying bye, bye to everyone as they walk out of the store.
I was like what, then I just laughed and all I could think of was the funny look I know he had to have on his face. My mom texted me a picture but I can’t seem to view it. As for my travels this week, was quite in experience on one of my flights. So I know there’s times that it must say sucker on my head or something that the person sitting next to me decides to share their whole life with me. Well you can say that again, I enjoy meeting new people an hearing what they do but sometimes I have a ton of work planned to get done on a flight or try to get a quick cat nap, but neither of those things happened this week. Gotta love flight conversation...as it sure was a interesting one for me, left me thinking wow some people love to share everything.
So anyways I went to the doctors Monday evening and all check out well with kaleia and I. We are right on track and both doing well. Hard to believe I have about a month left. Where have the 9 months gone? She sure has been pushing her little body around and I can tell she has dropped some. The doc says it could be between 38 to 40 weeks... So will see...
As for last weekend it was all about packing up our office and guest room for it to become kaleias new nursery. We have her furniture and now I need to paint her room and set everything up. That’s my plan for Sunday. As for tomorrow it will be an exciting day as my mom is throwing me a baby shower. I can’t wait; I know it will be a fun day with family and friends. I’m excited to see everyone as I don’t get that to often. Well that’s it for now and I’m on my flight back home to good old san Diego... Happy Friday everyone!!!

March 31 st... Week is almost over
Hello everyone
Well its been two weeks of craziness with work... Just as I had everything going and lined up before my leave, but of couse nothing can go as planned but all get it figured out before I get ready to have kaleia. But I have a cute story that made me smile tonight as I was traveling from one state to another. So im on a flight leaving tx and heading to the next market and the flight has about 40 min left and the flight attenend get on and say we have a fun thing happening tonight. So they asked for this young lady to come up and she did. Then this guy came out of the bathroom and pulled a ring out and said will you marry me and she said yes and then started to cry. It was so sweet... Come to find out they meet on a airplane 5 years ago and been together ever since. The flight attendents gave them a bottle of champain and every one cheered...
It was so sweet....
