From decorating to Christmas parties... I know Ashton is just loving every minute of this holiday season.
Here's a conversation I had with him
Aj- momma/Bubba Santa coming yet
Momma- not yet Ashton we have 10 more days
Aj- oh not 2 weeks, tomorrow yeah!!!
Momma- no Bubba in 10 day's, see lets count it on the sign.
Aj- look, oh sissie ...uuummm Santa almost coming, 2 3 4 6 5 7 8 9 10 more momma...
Momma- yes ah 10 more days
Aj- yeah, light's, Santa, jingle bell's and tree, snowmen...

Ok momma merry Christmas ....
Then he started singing Xmas songs. He is just so darn cute.

Getting our tree

Ashton had a blast at the tree farm getting our Xmas tree... He was so excited he kept going uP to trees and saying (this one please, Ashton tree, Ashton size just like Charley brown.) Such a smart little boy I have. Then he moved on to the big trees and he ran up to a few different ones. It was priceless.

And you can guess. We picked out a beautiful smelling good Xmas tree....

Happy Sunday night!!" We have the best 2 Christmas presents ever.... And guess who tried to get up on all fours and crawl ...kaleia is right. She has had the scoot backwords down for about 3 weeks but now she's trying to go for it. Can't believe how fast she is growing.

Have a great week....

November - time for giving thanks

Hard to believe the year is just about to end. Also can't believe my little peanut princess is 6mths old, where did the time go...

As you all know this marks the month of craziness for us in the retail business so its going to be a busy time of year. Between opening,
Travel and the holiday we have an exciting holiday season ahead of us. WE started out our month with a night of winter wonderland at the private winter nights for season pass holders at sea world and it was a BLAST!!! Then the following week was thanksgiving and we celebrated our 13th year anniversary with my better half. Then we started decking our house out with holiday decor and ashton loved helping me decorate and helping daddy put up the lights.Jonathan and I started our Christmas shopping but I am no where near done and I know xmas will be here before I know it. This coming weekend will be fun from getting a night with my bubba and a family night watching our Jeffery's ranch annual Light Boat Show and toy drive. I love this time of year. To bad I don't get to enjoy it, as much as I would like to with the family!!! HAPPY DECEMBER 1st tomorrow!!!! Cant believe my bubba will be 30 years young in 16 days....

October, fall fun!!!

Ok, first off I'm sorry for getting so behind on posting anything as I have been swamped since I went back to work in August.  Its no excuse I know. I must make the time. So I will be posting a few updates to bring everyone up to speed.
October was full of fun but flu by before I could blink in eye. We started off the month with a fun day family trip to the nut farm / pumpkin patch... Ashton had a blast and loved picking out his pumpkin.

Ashton truly enjoyed the Halloween holiday, as he is still talking about it... From saying spokey pumpkin, to g

ost, bats and scary..momma. the boy love Halloween and loves pumpkins. Trick or treating was also fun as it was kaleias first Halloween and ashtons 3rd. He really got it this year and was so cute when he would go up to someone or ring the door bell. He would say trick or treat, happy Halloween-thank you and sometimes point at kaleia and say sissie too!!!
It was so darn cute.
That kinda, was October in a nut shell.

September is here

WOW... How the time is flying by. Sorry I haven’t posted anything since I went back to work, but as you can imagine it has been crazy since I went back and it was like hitting the ground running instead of working my way back in slowly. But when have I done anything like that?? Never... So let me bring you up to speed. Kaleia just turned 4 months old, can’t even believe it. She is as cute as can be and I love every minute of it. She loves to play with her toes, rolls over, laughs, giggles and blows bubbles for days. She loves to watch her brother run around her and do circles around her with his toys. We have had many adventures with Kaleia and Ashton since she was born. We took our first family of 4 vacations to PHX and loved every minute of it. We got to see our dear friends Casie and buddy. Kaleia was a little airplane princess. As for Ashton, things are a changing day by day minute by minute… And I think those 2year old moments are starting. We had our first encounter this past weekend and both Jonathan and I were like what the heck just happened. He was his little loving self and then out of nowhere, he went crazy. We hadn’t gotten mad at him or anything, then like 5 minutes later he was himself. So we know he is testing the waters and wanting to see what he can do to see how far he can get. But were on to him, so will see how the next coming months are going to be. Which brings me to the next part, AJ is turning two this Wednesday and we are throwing him a toy story party this coming Saturday. I’m super excited and can’t wait to see his little face with all the décor and all his little buddies running around with him. It’s going to be a great day of fun and I don’t want to share too much because it will ruin all the surprises we have in store for the kiddos. We hope you can make it to join the fun and if not I will be sure to share photos with all of you after the big day. Today I was driving to work and thinking today Monday two years ago I was already in the hospital since Sunday evening wait for my little guy to come into this world. But with the calendar as we know changes Ashton’s actual day he came into this world is this coming Wednesday. Hard to believe he is going to be 2 and he truly has his own little personality. Now that he can make decisions on his own and is realizing that more and more, it’s pretty funny to watch. As much as it breaks my heart to see him grow so fast, I have to be honest it is so fun to see him change with every coming day. I love him more and more every day, and I don’t even know how I can love him more than words can say with all my heart. This year has been another joyful, learning and fun year for us with Ashton and with the new addition of Kaleia to the family 4 months ago. Jonathan and I are so grateful to have such wonderful, sweet, caring, funny babies. They have been the biggest blessing to us since day one. We are so blessed to have two happy and healthy babies. I thank god everyday for them and feel so lucky to be able to share my excitement with the world. I will never forget how excited I was to see my little boy at 6:58am Monday Sept.21st, 2009. He was breath taking and so darn cute, (he really was not all funny looking :) .... I do have to say I was a little worried about that because you know babies don't always look fabulous right at first. It was so neat to see Jonathan hold him and cut a part of the cord. That sure is a moment you don't ever forget. It's hard to believe it's been two whole year since we were in the hospital for a whole week with him. (Because I was just in the hospital 4 months ago for a whole week with Kaleia, talk about flash backs.) But some days, it seems like yesterday when I got to bring him home and then I look at him and it seems like so long ago. As much as it’s a life changing experience, for our whole family, I can’t imagine a day without our little pumpkin. He is a blessing and a beautiful gift I can’t live without. He makes me work harder and get excited to spend every minute with him that I have. I treasure every moment and experience I get with Ashton each and every day. Thank you god for this beautiful, happy, healthy baby boy we have… OK so I'm not going to write any more mushy stuff since I started to cry but, it is such a beautiful thing to have Ashton and Kaleia in our lives and I count my blessings every day. Keep you all posted with pictures of Ashton on Wednesday, when he officially turns 2!!! My sweet babies are the steams to our roots in our beautiful family of four.

In the dark...

Today is Sept. 8th and its my bf Lauren's birthday today and also the power crashed in San Diego to a rolling black out. Who would have ever thought some surgery all the way in AZ would effect all of San Diego, parts of Mexico and south Oct but it sure did. So as I sit here in candle light on my phone writing this, I have to say for leaving in a quite neighborhood its even more peaceful then usual.
As for right after the power outage sweep through San Diego, they started to evacuate all the malls our stores and where did everyone have to go, on the streets and freeways. Let me just tell you San Diego is a great community that always pulls together in crises but I do have to say many San diegins forgot how a four way stop is supposed to go. It took me almost 1 hour to get through the main intersection from the mall to the freeway. But you can only image cars were everywhere. And the freeways were dead stopped in every direction because everyone was trying to head home.
What a day we had.
